I have a friend whose wife just tried to commit suicide for the second time on Tuesday. They have four children. One who is 18, one 15, and then a set of twins that are 8 years. Her name is Maureen and she was never the same after having the twins. They had the perfect life and seemed to be the typical American Family until she had the twins. She just never seemed to recover from their birth. It started almost immediately afterwards with depression, bi-polar, and thoughts of suicide. Her husband, Joe, is an incredibly strong guy and loves her dearly but he is at the end of the road with no where left to turn. The medical model has failed them along with all the psychotropic drugs they've had her on.
Do you do any work with this type of situation? Our fear is that if another approach is not explored that she will end up dead. I have not talked to her husband about this but I can't help but think that God had me on that live call Wednesday night for a reason!
Thanks for any help you might be able to provide and keep making a difference!!!!
